Our activity is beneficial to both parties or in other words for the forest owner and the final purchaser of timber. Forming a joint sales channel of the forest associations we also perform as joint information channel in both directions. The forest owner gets information about different partners’ purchase prices, delivery conditions, demands etc. from one place, and irrespective of the number of purchase-partners, the formation of the sales-delivery instrument is formalised in one place – in Eesti Puidumüügikeskus TÜ.
The final purchasers of timber also benefit because our partners do not have to spend resources on purchasing activity. Our founders manage 180 000 hectares of forest land, representing approximately 1 500 forest owners, which means that we are able to cover a substantial part of the total purchaser demand. Information exchange, agreement to purchase quantities, formalisation of the sales-delivery instrument between the members of the forest association and transaction of affairs occurs in one place – in Eesti Puidumüügikeskus TÜ.
